What Wrivid collects

Wrivid may collect basic technical information needed to operate the site, such as request time, browser type, device information, referring pages, IP-derived location signals, and pages requested. This information is generally used for reliability, security, debugging, and product improvement.

Analytics

Wrivid uses Google Analytics to measure page views and enabled site interactions. Before you choose, and after you reject analytics cookies, Google receives cookieless measurements for basic measurement and modeling. These can include pages visited, referrers, timestamps, browser and device information, and IP addresses during transmission; cookieless does not mean no data is sent. Analytics cookies are read or written only after you accept analytics cookies. Advertising storage, advertising user data and personalization remain denied. Analytics helps us understand which public pages are useful and where readers encounter issues.

Advertising

Google ads are disabled. Wrivid retains an AdSense ownership verification tag, which does not itself load ads. Any future ad launch is limited to eligible original News articles and requires approval and verified consent handling. If advertising is activated, Google and other advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention, and for personalization when permitted by your choices. Research discovery pages, report readers and proxied files do not carry ad units. The active providers, consent controls and this notice must be verified before ads become active.

Cookies and local storage

After acceptance, Google Analytics may use _ga and _ga_* cookies for site measurement. Wrivid remembers your accepted or rejected analytics-cookie choice and the time of that choice in local storage for up to one year. You can change or withdraw it using Analytics preferences in the footer or below. Rejection or withdrawal returns Analytics to cookieless measurement and removes accessible Wrivid Analytics cookies. Saved reports and interface preferences also use local storage and remain usable regardless of your analytics choice. Saved reports are stored locally in the browser unless a future signed-in account feature says otherwise.

Third-party services

Wrivid may rely on hosting, analytics, database, email, and monitoring providers to operate the site. Those services may process limited technical information on Wrivid's behalf. Wrivid also links to third-party publishers where the original publications are available.

Source publications

Wrivid indexes metadata and links for public institutional publications. Original publisher websites may have their own privacy notices, terms, cookies, and tracking practices. Wrivid does not control those third-party websites. Embedded reproductions, where permitted, use isolated static content. Opening the original report takes you to the publisher, whose privacy practices and consent choices apply there.

Updates

This notice may change as Wrivid adds account features, publisher tools, paid plans, or other product surfaces. Material changes should be reflected on this page before those features become active.
